Selection Process for Assistant (ASST01)
Tier 1 – Computer-Based Test (CBT)
- Format: 100 MCQ questions (1 mark each), −0.25 mark per wrong answer
- Duration: 90 minutes
- Sections (20 questions each):

- General Knowledge & Current Affairs
- General Intelligence & Reasoning
- Computer Aptitude
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Minimum Passing Marks: 50% for UR/OBC categories
Tier 2 – Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
- Type: Qualifying test (must score ≥ 10 out of 20 marks)
- Duration: 60 minutes
- Tasks:
- Typing: 45 w.p.m. in English or 40 w.p.m. in Hindi (i.e., 13,500 KDPH / 12,000 KDPH)
- Excel operations
- PowerPoint slide preparation
- Qualifying Score: 50% (10 marks) mandatory to clear
