Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
Only candidates who have completed their graduation and obtained the final passing certificate on or after April 1, 2021, are eligible to apply.

While this is a training opportunity and not a permanent job, Indian Bank offers a competitive monthly stipend to its apprentices. The stipend is designed to support your living expenses during the 12-month training period while you gain real-world banking experience.

Selection Process –
Stage 1: Online Written Examination
All eligible applicants will appear for a computer-based objective test with a duration of 60 minutes.

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Languages: The exam will be available in major regional languages, except for the English section, which will be in English only.
Stage 2: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
Candidates who qualify in the online exam must undergo a Local Language Proficiency Test for the state/UT they applied in.
The test evaluates proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the official language of the applied state.
Exemption: Candidates with a mark sheet or certificate from 8th, 10th, or 12th standard showing study of the local language are exempted from this test.
Stage 3: Final Merit List & Selection
The final selection will be based on state-wise and category-wise merit lists derived from the marks obtained in the online written exam.
Only those who pass the Local Language Proficiency Test will be considered for the final merit list.
