Selection Process: Step-by-Step Guide to Getting Hired
MPPGCL follows a transparent and merit-based selection process to ensure fair recruitment of qualified candidates:
1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
- A 100-mark online test with 100 multiple-choice questions (1 mark each)
- Duration: 2 hours | No negative marking
- Technical posts (AE, JE, etc.): 75 questions from the relevant discipline + 25 from General Knowledge, Aptitude, and Reasoning
- Non-technical posts: All 100 questions will cover General Knowledge, English, Maths, Computer Basics, and Reasoning
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
- Applicable only for Security Officer and Security Guard posts
- Includes an 800-meter run; qualifying this test is mandatory
3. Document Verification:
- Candidates shortlisted based on CBT (and PET, where applicable) will be called for document verification
- Must present original certificates to confirm eligibility
