TIFR Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

1. Scientific Officer (B)
- Qualification: M.Sc. (Life Sciences / Biotechnology / Zoology / Fisheries Science) with 60%
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a laboratory animal facility
2. Administrative Assistant (B)
- Qualification: Graduate with 55% marks
- Experience: 5 years in Accounts, Purchase, Stores, or General Admin
- Skills: Proficiency in word processing, database, and accounting procedures
3. Assistant Security Officer (A)
- Qualification: Graduate with 55% and NCC ‘C’ Certificate OR Advanced Civil Defence Certificate
- Experience: 5 years in security (Level 5 or above)
- For Ex-Servicemen:
- Graduate + JCO (Level 6+) OR
- Graduate + 3 years as NCO (Level 5+)
4. Clerk (A)
- Qualification: Graduate with 50% marks
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in clerical duties
- Skills: Typing and computer applications (with certificate)
5. Laboratory Assistant (B)
- Air Conditioning: NTC/NAC in AC trade with 60% + 1–2 years’ experience
- Biology/Chemistry: HSC (12th) with 60% + 2 years’ lab experience
- Welder: NTC/NAC in Welder (G&E) trade with 60% + 1–2 years’ experience
6. Work Assistant (Technical)
- Trades: Painter, Fitter, Mason
- Qualification: SSC (10th) pass or NTC in relevant trade
- Experience: 1–2 years in the respective field
7. Work Assistant (Auxiliary)
- Qualification: SSC (10th) pass
- Experience: Minimum 1 year
8. Security Guard
- Qualification: SSC (10th) pass
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in Defence / CAPF / Security
- Additional: Certificate in Firefighting / NCC / Civil Defence / Home Guard (waived for Defence/CAPF candidates)
9. Project Scientific Officer (C)
- Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60%
- Experience: 0–3 years
10. Project Laboratory Assistant (B) – Fitter
- Qualification: NTC/NAC in Fitter trade with 60%
